Hours Is Yours — Now at Revolution 514

We’ve started carrying shoes, beginning with a selection from Hours Is Yours.

It’s a skater-owned footwear brand founded by Bryan Herman and Dennis Martin. That’s a big part of why it made sense for us to bring it into the shop. It’s coming from people who’ve actually spent time skating and working in footwear, not just putting a name on something.

At this point, we’re not too interested in hype. We’ve been around long enough to know what tends to hold up and what doesn’t. When we bring something in, it’s because it feels like it has a place here and will make sense to the people who come through.

The shoes are solid. They feel good on the board, they break in naturally, and they’re built in a way that doesn’t feel overthought. Nothing flashy, just well-made and easy to wear. That’s really what it comes down to. A straightforward shoe, made by skateboarders, that does what you need it to do.
