Back in the day,
the skate shop was more than just a store; it was a real meeting place.
The owners of Revolution 514 grew up immersed in the skate culture of the 70s and 80s. We'd meet up, watch skate videos, discuss gear, and then head out into town to try out the tricks we'd just seen. After hours of skating—sometimes to earn a little extra money at the Jazz Festival—we'd crash, ready to do it all again the next day.
It was a different era, before work and responsibilities took over.
Today,
most skate shops have lost that spirit, becoming places where you buy something and leave. Revolution 514 is different. Located on Saint-Laurent, just down the street from Van Horne Skatepark and minutes from downtown Montreal, we've created a space where skaters can meet, hang out, and find inspiration. It's the perfect place to meet up before a session.
If you can’t make it in, no problem. Our online store makes it easy to shop and we offer fast shipping. With decades of experience on our boards, we’ve learned a lot and we’re always stoked to share it. Whether you need gear, advice, or just a place to talk skateboarding, we’re here for
skaters.
